Image Capture

This section describes the various ways that PixeLINK cameras capture images and how that process is affected by lighting.  There are three basic approaches:

• Global Shutter;

• Rolling Shutter; and

• Fast Reset Shutter.

Each of these affects the readout times of the cameras in different ways.
