Handling Procedures

Enclosed Cameras

ESD — PixeLINK enclosed cameras are not ESD sensitive and can be handled without ESD protection.

Water & Dust — The enclosures are not water or dust proof. If used in harsh environments, the camera should be protected within an appropriate enclosure.

FCC — Handle the PL-A780 as FCC Class B.  See FCC Statement.

CE—The PL-A741 is compliant with the following directives and standards:

Cleaning

Housing:      Clean the housing with a cloth dampened (not dripping) with reagent-grade isopropyl alcohol.

Glass:         See Protective Glass

Board Level Cameras

ESD — The board level imaging modules are ESD sensitive and should only be handled by using proper ESD procedures.  Refer to ANSI/ESD S20.20 Class Type 3 (4000 V).
